Wave in Rio serves the children of Palmeirinha a favela of over 55,000 people, known for its challenges but also for its resilience.
We currently work directly with 200 children aged 4 to 11, many arriving hungry and malnourished.
In a place where joy was stolen too early, we bring back the laughter of childhood through faith, education, and care.
